The coconut is a tree from the palm family and is an important crop of the Tropics and flourishes growing close to the sea or water. Almost every part of the coconut/tree is used commercially in some way or another, but one part of it that is usually discarded is the coconut shell. However now, most coconut-producing countries are re-purposing these shells as crockery and in our case, candle-holders. These shells are not naturally fire-proof and the insides have to be treated with a fire-retardant. Our Eco-Friendly coconut shells have been treated and as evident in this short video, we highlight this important feature.
We haven’t stopped there, we use a first of its kind, Superior CocoSoy blend which has a beautiful and natural creamy soy finish and is formulated to retain a smooth and even surface, the coconut wax component gives it a showroom look. This once again, gives you a candle that provides a good lasting scent, has a container that can be re-purposed and offers a candle that is Eco-Friendly and Hand-Poured in Australia.
